What is shirley reeves?

Shirley Reeves is an American singer, best known as the lead singer of the 1960s girl group, The Shirelles. The Shirelles were one of the first girl groups in the history of rock and roll and were known for their hits such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", "Soldier Boy", and "Mama Said". Reeves was born on June 10, 1941, in Henderson, North Carolina, and was raised in Passaic, New Jersey. She joined The Shirelles in 1957 and remained with the group until 1975. Reeves was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 as a member of The Shirelles.
